New Web site of Québec's Chief Scientist

Research results and scientific expertise in one click!

Rémi Quirion, Québec’s chief scientist, is proud to launch his new Web site: www.scientifique-en-chef.gouv.qc.ca/en/. Designed for the province’s elected officials, department staff and government organizations and non-academic audiences, the Web site showcases the research results and scientific expertise supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec in its three key sectors: the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering, health, the social sciences, humanities, arts and literature.

“I would like this new platform to enable us all—members of the National Assembly and citizens—to become more familiar with the research conducted in Québec and better take advantage of our researchers’ extraordinary expertise in many fields,” affirmed Rémi Quirion.

The Web site includes a search engine to access research results categorized by issue (e.g. health, education, environment, economy, etc.), impact and region where the research was conducted. Information on expert researchers in the centres funded by the Fonds is also available online.
