On behalf of Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, we are pleased to invite you to join us for two virtual conversations between the Governor General and Dr. Rémi Quirion, Chief Scientist of Quebec.
These live virtual conversations are part of a series of dialogues between the Governor General and Canadians from different backgrounds.
In addition to being accessible via the links provided above, the conversations will be live-streamed on the GG Julie Payette YouTube channel and the GGJuliePayette Facebook account on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. EDT (French) and 2:30 p.m. EDT (English). The conversations will be recorded and available to watch via the same platforms in the days following the event, in case you are not able to tune in live.
Do you have a question to ask?
Should you have a question for the Governor General or her guest relating to this topic, we invite you to submit it by replying to this email. Please keep your question short and concise (e.g.: 100 words). We would also ask you to include your hometown in your message. A list of questions will be compiled and sent to the Governor General and her guest for their consideration as they prepare for the conversations.
You can also submit questions in the live chats on YouTube and Facebook during the conversation, which the Governor General and her guest may answer. Please note that, depending on the volume of questions received, they may not be able to answer all questions during the live conversations.
