INGSA-FRQ scientific consulting activity

The International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA), together with the Chief Scientist of Québec, Fonds de recherche du Québec, are pleased to invite you to join us for a half day workshop on the role of science advice in supporting the sustainable development goals. The workshop is timed deliberately to follow on from the G7 Research Summit in Montréal on May 23-24.

The first meeting of its kind in North America, the workshop will explore the principles and practices of promoting and enabling the use of scientific evidence to inform public policy in diverse contexts. We expect this workshop to be of interest to researchers and policy professionals seeking to optimise the interface between science and public policy making.

This is an opportunity also to explore launching an INGSA chapter in the region. There are currently chapters in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Africa. See www.ingsa.org for more background information. We will also present the INGSA Manifesto for 2030. The lectures will be in English only.

See the preliminary program.

This event is sold out.
